Sara Mostafa’s core practice centers on corporate and business transactions. Sara has represented clients transacting multi-million dollar private financings, mergers and other acquisitions, as well as counseled closely-held companies with respect to their internal legal affairs and corporate governance. Sara also has years of experience forming companies and negotiating and drafting complex legal agreements covering matters ranging from licensing transactions to employment and consulting agreements.

After graduating from the UCLA School of Law in 2006, Sara worked as a corporate attorney for Cooley LLP, an AM 100 law firm. Thereafter, Sara took a temporary sabbatical to Hawaii and worked first for a nonprofit domestic violence legal agency, where she performed rewarding work advocating for survivors of domestic violence, and then for Damon Key Leong Kupchak Hastert, an esteemed Honolulu law firm. Upon moving back to the mainland in 2011, Sara embarked on a successful career as a self-employed attorney affiliated with Montage Legal Group, an award-winning network of former Biglaw attorneys, before joining Lobb & Plewe, Attorneys at Law in 2013.

Sara earned her Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Pennsylvania, from where she graduated magna cum laude with a double major in Economics and International Relations.

Sara was awarded the San Diego Business Journal’s Women Who Mean Business Award in 2012 for her professional and service-oriented accomplishments.

Sara is licensed to practice law in California and Hawaii.
